The Outside Agitator:
a new radical tradition
In producing The Outside Agitator, we create and disseminate works with a commitment to supporting resistance rooted in direct action, liberatory creativity, lived and embodied truths, sanctified community, mutual aid, and an ethics of radical love and transparency above all else. We maintain that journalistic neutrality is a myth, resistance is necessary, and collective liberation will abound.
The Outside Agitator: a new radical tradition is a publication founded by CJAC (Community Justice & Abolition Collective) and run by the people. It is a home for articles, weekly digests, art, poetry, and more. Formerly, The Outside Agitator was a place for weekly spotlights on events happening in the triangle. That can now be found at nctree.xyz
Community Justice & Abolition (CJAC)
Community Justice & Abolition (CJAC) is a collective & movement to dismantle police, prisons, heteropatriarchy, and colonialism based out of Chapel Hill, NC and the broader Triangle Region. We agitate against the carceral state, prison-industrial complex, zionism, policing, white supremacy, imperialism, colonialism, and all forms of oppression — in UNC, Amerikkka, and abroad.
