this piece, created by fig (@goblinfig), was made in response to the recent assassination of ismail haniyeh by israel. haniyeh was the chief political leader and main ceasefire negotiator of hamas.
since the start of this genocide, over 60 of haniyeh’s family members have been killed. earlier this year, he stated, “through the blood of the martyrs and the pain of the injured, we create hope, we create the future, we create independence and freedom for our people and our nation.”
israel’s assassinations of resistance leaders will never stop the movement, or the resistance. glory to the martyrs & free palestine.
